Just got open water certified at Monterey, California and thought this would make our dives as a couple more interesting - and on our first independent dives after qualifying we saw a few of the species in the book at Breakwater! And even better, we visited Monterey Bay Aquarium after and that also connected with the book and our diving.
Loved looking at the pictures of the fish and saying "I saw those!". Would definitely buy regional books in the future before I go.
Looking forward to using this book in Belize for Mardi Gras.

Great little book to have for a trip! It may not cover everything you could see, but it covers most of the things you will see. I’ll be grabbing most of the other books for my other trips.

This little books are packed with useful information. I was surprised at the quality of the photos. I found information that I never expected, such as the kids section. If you want to educate yourself on fish ID and conservation, these are the books you should read.
